Pūrerehua

This Pūrerehua is hand carved from Mahogany wood. The Pūrerehua is blade-like and swings on a long cord producing a loud, deep whirling sound that can be heard from a distance. A rapid spinning motion will start the music of the Purerehua'a song as it rotates and flutters.
